Issues: shared resource calendars for teachers, but not students
Sandy & Katie uses Groupwise for this
Michelle - created a system group, shared calendar to group, this avoided adding single addresses; they forward their gmail to their school mail. They have a separate domain. http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=60766
Central/Eastern - They don't use the email part. Eastern - better use in middle school.
Central - goes directly to their docs.
Gadgets default all available.
Michelle will add the GCT list for gadgets.
Users: Dallastown, Eastern, Central, South Western, York Suburban, Red Lion and Fairfield (possibly in the near future).

Easiteach upgrade by November 30, 2010
"As you may know, our partner, RM Education, maker of the Easiteach software, is releasing a new stand-alone version of this software this fall: Easiteach Next Generation. This version will not “replace” the current Easiteach 3.4/3.5 that teachers may currently be using—they may continue to use this version. As a current Easiteach user, your school/district is eligible to upgrade to the Next Generation version for FREE. Please visit the RM Education website (http://www.rmeducation.com) to register—scroll down, click on current Easiteach user, complete and submit online form. Please register by November 30, 2010.
This year as teachers begin exploring Next Generation and consider migrating existing version 3.5 files to Next Generation, they will need to install the Easiteach 3.6 “patch” to their existing Easiteach 3.4/3.5 program—this patch is FREE. The link to this upgrade and an instruction sheet are available on this RM Education website (scroll to bottom): (http://www.rmeducation.com/shops/rmusa/Catalogue.aspx?nguid=bf97d07d-fa08-41d7-b73d-f8ccf34f4035) . The “patch” allows Easiteach 3.4/3.5 files to be saved as .iwb files. Easiteach Next Generation will open .iwb files but NOT .et files (the standard format of Easiteach 3.4/3.5). Teachers may “re-save” Easiteach 3.4/3.5 files in .et format to .iwb format once the 3.6 patch is installed."
